With a constant goal of fully automating processes, IP GmbH has developed a comprehensive range of tools to optimize the entire crystallization process, divided into two key areas:
SENSORS
Sensor for monitoring and helping to control crystal growth
NIR Sensors for all feed and run-off syrups incl. molasses
MPC
Model Predictive Control (MPC) is a method that uses a system model to predict and optimize future behavior while continuously adapting to changes.
MPC for batch crystallization autonomously initiates the crystallizers to enhance throughput at the sugar end. MPC for batch centrifuges ensures optimal, consistent use of centrifuges according to production KPIs. Historical data and the dimensions of your sugar house are required to tailor the model to your system.
